The Bishop

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the purpose of the Bishop is to eliminate another solution, that would be 1. Nh4.
If there was no Bishop, after 1.Nh4, the Black's tower would have to move, and I'm pretty sure that would be mate in two. But with the Bishop, black can refute with 1...Bf5, and there is no threatenings of Ng6 anymore.
Sorry if I am wrong... I didn't analysed deeply.

Draw

With black to move Rf8 and white has to fight for the draw. With white to move, white forces mate because the king is trapped and any check results in a smothered mate
