I realized pretty quickly that white needed to get one of the knights to b3 for the mate and that dictated that you capture the pawn at a4 first, that pretty much scripted the other moves.

I always get confused with the pawns movement direction...

Totally agree with bobandyo. The only question for me was capturing a4 on the third or fourth move.
