It was needlessly sarcarstic, and I don't play like that. I was feigning surprise at seeing a position from a tournament that doesn't take place until August. (Yes, I can tell you made up the attribution. Veronica Mars, indeed.)

Maybe I was a little peeved because the US Open is the one tournament I know a little more about than most people: www.chessgames.com
