Not So Obvious
To be honest, I tried f6 first to enable the attack on h7 because it looked right. Should have given it more thought.

King has no flight squares
With the rook on f7 the queen sac ,followed by discovered attack ,then bishop sac works ,because no flight squares for black king.

Deja vu
I really like the symmetry of this puzzle. The white queen tells her g3 rook, "Be patient...", and turns to the bishop, "Ok, now you watch me, because you will need to do the same thing in a sec, after we play F6 for protection of our rook." Finally, after the Bishop mimics the queen perfectly, the rook finally gets to deliver the back row mate. Thanks for posting!

Some will solve this...
Because it starts w/ a Q sac!

There was a comment on yesterday's puzzle that a person always plays a Q sac in the easy puzzles. Such a strategy, if taken literally, would probably work less 1/3 of the time.

I liked this puzzle cos it felt like a legit game position. The double piece sac was easy but attractive.

Excellent Teaching Example !
...Allow the students to play moves they think best, and let them see where there's lots of ways to slip up. This position offers several lines, all others being longer.

Beware they might conclude from this, though, that a Q sac is Always a Good First Move!

So, be ready to caution them to always think twice before sacking the Q.

900/1296 = 69%...not so good...
