yes, breakerofwind has it, anything that diverts the black Queen fro the a3-f8 diagonal alows the bishop to check with mate...

All I questioned was what was wrong with white Q taking b4...
1.Kf8

2.b4 Qxb4

Then maybe...

3.Qc3 Nf2+
4.Kg1 Qxc3
5.Bxc3 Ng4
6.Bxg7+

you are right... no matter what, game gets worse for black and it will eventually loose
