long ending...
your solution leads to many moves to mate. If the white queen is positioned one move from mate, black can not keep checking without giving up a tempo for very long. For ex.
1....Qe4
2.Qg5+ Kc8
3.Qf6 Qe1+
4.Ka2 Nc1+
5.Ka3

Sorry, that doesn't work since Black has mate after 3.Qf6 Nb4+
