I dont see haw that helps you - he can then take your rook...

If you capture with the rook first, then the king ends on d7 and you can't fork the king with your knight. If you make the knight move first, then you can follow up by capturing the bishop on e3 and come out a bishop ahead.

Basically, moving the knight there first wins you a bishop.
