The same outcome could have been achieved with same two moves moving bishop to top of board & then queen next to king.

Glad you figured it out amacivn. I went to the next puzzle when I saw 'bishop to top of board.' I thought descriptive notation was confusing but this is worse.

You are right ! It had a nice little twist to it , i had to have a go , once i'd cracked the code-bishop to the top of the board !

i agree with the phrase "descriptive notations are confusing" but this one i got at first look..
