explanation
I can't figure this one out... after Qf5, why does white take g4, and sacrifice her queen ? I just can't see it...

White is in bad shape. His knight is being attacked by the pawn which is backed up by the bishop on b7. If he move the knight he gets mated by Qxf2. The best that I can find for white is 1. Nf3 Qf5
2. Be3 exf3
3. gxf3 Bxf3
but now Black is threatening mate with Qd3. At least White gets two pieces for the queen and a long fight, but eventually he will lose.

...
After
2. Be3 exf3
3. gxf3,
Black could go Nxe3+ and White will lose the Queen: 4. ... Qxh3.

I think because the Knight could attack like this, White chooses 2. Qxg4.
