![]() 1. Kg1 Rb2 2. Re3 Qf6 3. Rf3 Rxa2 4. Rxf6 gxf6 and black has a rook for a pawn. As for 3.Qb8: Sorry, but I'm not sure I get you right on this one. You say that after 2...Qf6, 3.Qb8 wins. But after 2...Qf6 it is white to move. And white can not go to b8. Do you perhaps mean 2...Qb8 instead of 2...Qf6? In that case white can defend with 3.Qe6. If now 3...Rb1+ then simply interpose the rook on e1 (now protected by the queen on e6). |
