Why not 3...Qe2+ 4.Kc1 Rd1++

@ markpaterson: I made the same mistake, but I think the reason why 3...Qd3+ is preferable is, that it doesn't let the white king go to b1.

1.Kcx2 Qd3+ 2.Kc1 Qxf1+ 3.Kc2 Qe2+? 4.Kb1 ...

3...Qd3+ doesn't give white a choice, he has to go to c1 and is checkmated the next move.
