I'd prefer 3. RxQ, because after Bxc6+ black can play Kd8.

3. RxQ doesn't work nearly so quickly (mate after eight moves).

The quickest win is Bxc6+ which gives mate in three: 3. Bxc6+ Kd8 4. Rd7+ Ke8 5. Rxc7+ Kd8 6. Qxc8 mate.
