Chaswil, I guess you mean 1.Kh4 exf5 2.Rg1 Ke6+ 3.Kh3 instead of 3.Kh4, since the White king can't move to a square he's already at... And yes, that will lead to mate in the same numbers of moves, so in that case 3.- Ke6+ and 3.-Rxh5+ are equal. However moving the king after 3.- Ke6+ is not the best option for White. Instead 3.Rg5 is correct; here's the position after that:


Suddenly there's no longer any immediate mate along the h- or g-files. Instead Black needs six moves to mate, rather than three. For instance 3.- Rxg5 4.Re1+ Kd6 5.Re6+ fxe6 6.c4 Rhxh5, and mate:
