Doesn't white have a better move?
After Bc8, wouldn't Qxc8 be a better move for White? He'd still lose his Queen (Rxc8), but then would be able to take Black's second bishop as well (Rxe3).

I don't think so , because after Qxc8, it continue like this :
2. Qxc8 Rxc8
3. Rxe3 Qxh3+
4. Kg1 Qg3+
5. Kh1 Rc6.... threatning mate with Rh6+

True, but that still looks better than white's position in the continuation, in which he loses everything, doesn't it?

No because, after Rc6, there no way to avoid the checkmate with Rh6+ on the next move

@sammyb2
I do agree with you that the continuation does not seem to be the best set of moves for white. There are a few things white could do to save some pieces, but either way white loses this game.
