![]() if your question was, why not this series of moves, the reply will of course be 3. Rxh3+ Kh3 4. Qg3+ Kxg3 which is a beautiful forced stalemate in case others dont understand the previous comments made: black has material advantage so white tries to force the stalemate, if 5. Qg3+ Kxg3 is played, this is stalemate (white has no legal moves remaining). 6. Qh4+ Kg2 7. Qg3+ Kxg3 shows that white will force a draw either by threefold repetition or through stalemate i find it strange that white doesnt play 6. Qf3+, but then of course the result is the same anyway |
