Why doesn't black go 2. Qd7+ kb8 3. cxb6 cxd6 4. Qc7+ Ka8 .... I don't get it?

After 3. cxb6 cxd6, 4. Nc6+ Ka8 5. Nd8 Rxd8 6. Qxd8# (or 5. ... Ra7 6. Qc8#, the only two ways to prevent 6. Qxb7#)

Or Black can try 4. ... bxc6 5. Qc7+ Ka8 6. b7+ Ka7 7. b8=Q+ Ka6 8. Qcb6#

But that still doesn't explain why black wouldn't go 3. cxb6 cxd6 4. Qc7+ Ka8 ...
