It takes awhile but i played it thru and maybe
3..... Kh4
4.Qd8+ kg4
5.Qg7+ Kh4
6.Qe7+ Kg4
7.Qe6+ Kh4
8.Qf6+ Kg4
9.Qg5#

The Black king won't move to h5 as he risks losing the Queen

@hector_hrc
look again my friend ,
I said that was one way , why Black would not move there , ask your self why black would move back to g4 and lose on the next move !! the whole point of losing her Queen , is to delay the mate ,
maybe in future play all variants through before you criticise

The whole point of the comment is to find the better way to end the game, don´t you think?

all what i´m saying is: someone ask, why not Kh4? and your answer was a continuation which ends at move 9. Qg5#, my continuation ends at move 5. Qg5#

Thats the real reason of: why not Kh4?

Hey hector_hrc thanks 4 the reply
usually i would agree with u , but the first post was slightly different in that in reply , you have to remember that Black was prepared to sacrifice her Queen to keep the game alive ,

Yes yours was quicker , and i liked it more ! , but as Black had already shown us she would sacrifice her Queen , i was not being right or wrong just showing armaduk one way , and if you read my post i explained why your h5 move would not be chosen , once again because of the risk to the Queen
