Qucker mate?

I don't see why Qd1 doesn't work; if Rxd1, then Rf8 mate; Qxg2 Ka3; Bd7 Qxd7; h6, Qxd8ch etc What am I missing?

If 1.Qd1 then Black has the simpler reply of Bxd1
