No wonder I failed this one. Who would leave their Q to be taken after Re3? Why such a lame move of Rae1 instead which accomplishes nothing? Is there something I'm not getting w/ this puzzle??

Where will the queen go?

Here's one scenerio:

1. Kc2 Rf3
2. Qd4 Rxe4
3. Qxa7 Re1+
4. Rd3 Qxd3#

I think the point of the "lame" move

Is that once black moves the Rook to F3 , white is beaten
another scenario is
2.Qe2 , Rxe4
3.Qg2 , Re1+
4.Rd3 , Qxd3#
another way delays mate but whi loses her Queen
I also get frustrated with these moves tho lol !
