I assume you mean Qh6
But white can't play that immediately because of 2...Rh2+ followed by 3. Re4+ which leads to a continuous check of white's king by black's queen. If white plays poorly, this will result in checkmate or the loss of his queen.

Sorry about that. I see no reason why 12. Qf8 shouldn't be played.
