![]() But I agree with you!! Queen vs rook on computer analysis took 41(!) move to a checkmate, it was near the 50-move draw... So it is unclear why someone would leave with plain rook vs king endgame instead that tricky one queen vs rook. |

![]() Personally I can easily and surely do first but not the second. Also the computer analysis of GK tells (as I pointed above) that it takes 41 move to the checkmate in this aparent Queen vs Rook position. I guess one mistake there and you are out of 50 allowed moves. |
