If 2....Nd7 then White plays 3. Qxc3 and Black's mating plan of Qb2 vanishes like last night's dream.

but why 2 .....Kf6?
if 2......Kf6 then
3. Qf4+ and we have a repeated position.
(i tried to check against the computer and got an error message)

td, it's not a repeated position, since Black's king just takes the bishop.

Just take your time, look at the entire board before moving. You'll improve eventually.
