Great puzzle

It is really amazing to see how Q, N and K can limit the moving space of the black king to 0. Very difficult to visualize (for me)

Wow! Move 3 was hard!

I thought I had it, but I missed white's third move.

I got it on my second attempt.

4.5 Stars difficulty (6% solved it)
5 Stars Aesthetics.

very nice

New to puzzles but this one was very challenging. Had to use hints and caffeine for move 3.

move 3? hard?

I think the first move is responsible of that difficulty,

didn'T find it.

After that, it is an average mate in 3 puzzle.

Qc6 was the only way to block king( block the c file was the key to find Qc6!) and force him to go back near white king, wich tactic was surely the only one working

Can anyone explain me tactical way to find 1.Qb5??

The point of Qb5 is

a) the Black king needs enough air to breathe. So 1.b5 avoids stalemate while bringing the K to g4. I got that part.

b) 1.Qa5 doesn't work because you need to be able to get to c6 on move 3. That's the part I missed.

I always try to solve a puzzle completely without moving the pieces. Sometimes I miss something that others consider easy.
