Description:Inspired by Puzzle #714 by wcale. Black has all his 16 pieces, white has just 5, but in the longest variation, Black gives up every single piece to delay mate. Is this a record? Can anyone find the same in any other puzzle? Can this position be reached in play with both sides playing legal moves?

I don't think so, Higgie. The Black pawns made too many "exchanges". But I could be wrong.
