Nice puzzle, easy without being too easy. Of course white threatens mate so black needs to keep delivering check.

I much prefer that puzzles be set up with White at the bottom even if it's Black to win; I find solving from Black's side of the board very disconcerting. However, I guess the majority must like it this way, so it's up to me to adjust. So I won't press the point, but I wanted to say this just once.

Great puzzle
This is a great puzzle, and i disagree with the comment above, because if you are setting it up from white's point of view then the pawns would have to go the wrong way. On Gameknot when you create a puzzle, when you flip the board it becomes the perspective of the winning color. Either way it shouldn't matter which way you see the board, when you play a chess match in real life you don't sit on the same side of a bench so both players can see from white's perspective, you play across from one another.

I like this puzzle a lot, because it shows that it's not always the best to choose a queen for a passed pawn. I'd like to see more puzzles like this that maybe even show when it's best to pick either a bishop or a rook to prevent a stalemate and result in a win.
