Based on Ciglic-Glavac, Slovenian Championship 2002. The only change I made was to remove the pawn on a2. Why did I do that? Message me with your answer for bonus points!
I can see no reason why a pawn on a2 could make any difference. In almost every permutation black has only one genuinely unforced move. Qxa2, Qa2 - what's the difference?
The reason for the pawn removal was that in variations where black plays Bc6+ or Bh6+ it cuts out some alternative variations - white cannot move the king to f1, g1 or h1 because of Qa1+
The a2 pawn was removed to eliminate alternate moves in the line 2...Kxh8 3. Qh6+ Kg8 4. Ng5 Bc6+, when 5. Kh2 is the only move now since moving to the back rank allows 5...Qa1+.
