of course it is simple, very straight forward, but did you both see 2...Kf6 3.Ne4 and 2...Kf8 3.Qh8? I sort of 'missed' 3.Ne4, so in a way I didn't have the complete solution

Whats the problem Iron_flower, if it is to simple for you, do the hard ones instead? @Luke, when i was calculating the position i had the same i saw 2 ways to get out of Bxg7 and it took a few moments to saw 1. Bxg7 - Kxg7 2. Kf8 - Dh8. Thats why practise like this are great to train headcalculatiing thx for the puzzle

I'd do the hard ones and once in a while I do but as a rule they can take up t0 half hour for me to solve. I'm getting old. I just don't have the time

I like it!

Talking about the main line, the double check force the king to move and take the bishop. This same bishop avoids the black queen to protect his king and when is taken the king itself avoids the queen to help him.
