Well constructed. Usually the same motif counts for all of the moves, but this one had plenty of tricks along the way

Think it could easily be done in 6 moves, probably less... Promoting the f pawn to queen and having King on d2 and bishop on f4

Took me awhile to realize that the king had to be forced back to the back rank, or the pawn at g2 would be promoted. Sometimes the advances pawn structures in these puzzles throws me off!

Pointless. Just promote a pawn and finish it!

you can't just promote a pawn because it would be stalemate if you dont' move your bishop around

I was just randomly moving the bishop lol

Yeah, completely stumped, but great puzzle!

@bigsmak
black can get the rook out if you leave the king on f2, then promote to queen. This makes things problematic.

Very deep
It's kind of like a mystery that has to be solved with pure logic. You figure out that there must be a series of checks and maneuvers by the bishop, and that at some point you have to capture the a3 pawn to give Black a move (a4-a3), to buy a necessary free move to play e5-e6 (the hardest part for me), just to maneuver the bishop on a different diagonal. Very brilliant conception! Too bad the ideas were lost on some of the kibitzers here.

All you people…
All you people saying it was boring and stupid and pointless are just jealous that you couldn't create anything as awesome, and that you couldn't complete the puzzle. If Jakey101 created this puzzle, then I say he's a genius. Brilliant puzzle.

How do you know jakey101 created it? Did he say he did? Lot's of people here don't give proper credit to the composer, so it wouldn't be the first time.

Thebish…
I didn't say he created it, I said 'if' he created it.

Still great
I just solved it again last night, after having solved it last year. I remembered several elements, but had to (again) use logic and timing to get everything in the right order. I think many solvers hate the length, but it takes awhile to put together a jigsaw puzzle too!

Can be improved
I've been trying to improve it, and it's possible, to around 14 moves. But there are too many varieties for the website to accept, so can't enter the improvement.
