I think there is more to a puzzle ...It is hard to describe what that "more" is, and of course that is also a personal issue, but for me it has to with beauty and originality. And unfortunately i could not find them in this puzzle |

If bringing home the point was all there was....All Black needs to do to win is play Qxh3+ followed by Qxg4+. There's no more that needs to be calculated for Black to win. Black may not be able to force an immediate mate that way, but the win is guaranteed. The position is attractive because of the rather convoluted, but fast forced mate that is available. But as tactics training, the game is over when the N is captured. |
