Good one... These problems unravel only when focusing upon the limited options..
of the opponent. The canary in the cage has no place to go so this gives a free hand...

Very easy. Again, the no. of moves needed as given in the puzzle gives the clue. Time taken by me about 30 seconds.!

Think setup instead of check.

I kind of like the idea that you are told there is a forced mate but not told in how many moves. Then the challenge is to see who can achieve it in the fewest moves and how they did it. This has the added benefit because frequently when you are told how many moves the mate will take, that in itself points you in the direction of the solution.

Very good puzzle for this section
I could visualize the solution rather quickly and easy this time:

- it is not that difficult to see that the black king can only move to a7 and back to a8
- as long as we keep the a6, b6, b7 and b8 squares covered and do not let the pawn move, we might exploit that
- moving the king or the black bishop in the first move will change this situation, so that is not our first option
- moving the white bishop (and keeping a6 covered) does not really improve the position: after the king moves to a7 we clearly do not have a mate in 2
- so we are left with the pawn, and if we try that, we can see that it opens the right diagonal to give check on the second move and leave the king just one field
- and now we have an easy mate in 1
