No choice

There is no choice but to check constantly - otherwise you can't avoid White's checks, and there is no mate in 5.

Not sure what you mean by "no mate in 5" goflb

Lol, not much of a sacrifice per se.
I am all for applauding nice puzzles in the easy section, but thi s is pretty straighforward. I guess the only difficulty is picturing the mate in 5 without moving the pieces

You are absolutely right. It is obvious that the rook has to be taken, but the mate in 5 was difficult for me without using the analysis mode.

Too difficult

It's all relative, I suppose. I prefer one-star puzzles. This one took too much effort for me to solve. The key to solving is to keep white in check or be checked.
