Not my own creation of course. I like clean puzzles without clutter. It is very hard to make such a clean puzzle.

I also appreciate anything anyone posts here from a real game as a puzzle.
Chess is real and not a phantasm game of stumping chess players.
Those who post impossible real positions here get my least regard and time.

Every chess player whether beginning intermediate advanced or grandmaster deserves a real chess puzzle or game position to work out. The computer can solve anything for those needing it.
We are chess players here on Gameknot I would hope.

Not computer types who can't play chess or open in chess or defend in chess in a face to face game.

I marvel at the chess players on this site rated above 2000 or there about. They all should be Grandmasters playing against Bobby Fischer or Boris Spassky.
But they are not.

I would love to meet these above 2000 rating individuals face to face across a chess board without a time clock. Or with one.

One way is to do a blitz on site here to disprove them. However they may have another computer off site to resort to.
It seems chess has fallen to the computer but when real men face a computer like deep blue they are able to take it on right then and there in front of witnesses.

Well, I too prefer realistic positions or chess problems taken from real games, because I think they have the greatest learning effect. At least it is that way for me. In chess a lot depends on pattern recognition. Solving puzzles and tactical exercises is an entertaining and fun way to get familiar with these patterns. If they are unrealistic (could not happen in a real game) they are rather worthless for improving your otb chess. Which is not to say, that others can't find enjoyment in more artificial positions for different reasons perhaps.
