because after that, 3. Be7 (or whathever else), Rh5 (or wherever on the 5th row). 4. Qa4#.

If black does any other move after Qd4, then 4. Qa1#

Why not Bxa6?

Try adding it as an alternate solution. I don't see a way to force mate in 4 starting with Bxa6
