The way I figure it is if I can solve it, it must not be a very very very very very hard puzzle

Solved it, liked it, gave it 3*** too for aesthetic reasons + pleasant solving experience.

Ideally there would be two ratings possible: one for difficulty and one for aesthetics. Oftentimes an easy problem is very pleasing.

I agree with kingdawar here and fkohn.
Three stars means average.
To me this was not an "average" puzzle.
