Well...More insidious is that the knight needs to remain pinned or it will check the king and mess things up all around |

im new here but..either way i cant believe only 70 solved this out of 600, but if you move queen to f6 - take rook, then bishop takes b7 - attacks knight, then queen checksmates king- h4. he cant move cuz king and knight block all moves and queen check(mate)s him. am i wrong? but isnt this less than 3 moves? and wouldnt you move bishop to take pawn? like is there any other moves. i havent really checked before posting but im pretty sure. |

White cannot force a mate in threeI how would white mate in three if black had made 2.....Rf6 or even g6... It would have to be at least four moves. Or am I missing something? |
