No, no one can solve this without hints
It's impossible.

Woohoo!
Sure! I solved it fairly quickly. The first three moves were pretty obvious, but it took me a few minutes to work out the last part. Total time ~4 minutes. I'm only bragging on this one because I recognise now that it was tough.

I really liked this one.

4 Stars difficulty (I was going to give it 3 stars until I saw the 8% solve rate)
4.5 Stars Aesthetics. I LIKE this sort of endgame puzzle.

3. Kf1/Kf2, this tablebase problem would never pass beyond any editor

EGTB not allowed?
Really? EGTB positions don't count?

I figured 3.Kf2 had to be the right move because there were too many moves for White after 3.Kf1 that all led to the same position. I didn't realise that was a flaw in the position because I found the solution after 3.Kf2.

Oh well... so it drops in aesthetics from

4.5 to 2.5 stars because of the multiple solutions.

Even so, puzzles shouldn't be discounted simply because they are now in the EGTB. There are many really beautiful ideas there. And now there's a limited 7 piece tablebase.

Beauty is still beauty.
