Subject: Kings Gambit
Message: Hello my fellow chess fans. I was thinking about starting to play the Kings Gambit in response to 1...e5. What do you think of this opening? Which lines should I avoid and which should I aim for?
Thanks in advance,
The almighty Jaflake

Message: I've kind of fallen in love with the King's Knight Gambit. Exciting tactics, and mostly unexplored by todays players. It has largely fallen out of use, because several grandmasters deemed it 'unsound' ...but hey ... I'm not playing grandmasters. :-) The main lines are covered nicely in Reuben Fine's "The Ideas Behind the Chess Openings" Morphy had a couple of real nice KKG games as well
