Bd4 Bf5 20. Re3 Bb4 21. Bxe5 fxe5 22. Rxe5 Rce8 0-1 Almost as soon as I'd resigned, I saw that 23. Rxe8 Rxe8 24.Bf3 might have given me some compensation for the lost piece. What do you think? Did I give up too soon?
qistnix 9/10/2004 14:20:52 [ report this post ]	No, you didn't Message: because 23. Rxe8 Rxe8 24. Bf3 loses a knight with 24... Bxa5. The only thing playable is 23. Rxe8 Rxe8 24. Bh5 g6 25. Nxb7 gxh5 26. Rd8 Rxd8 27. Nxd8 Bd7 which results in a totally lost position. So I don't think you resigned too soon. Regards, Martin.
