I don't know. The only thing I can say is that ccla-knight's last name (from my knowledge) is Vandenburg, not Vandenberg.

I may have spelled his name wrong, it may indeed be Vandenberg. The man is something of a legend in Idaho having won the otb state championship many times.

Hello to all my chess playing friends.In this week i recieved a lot of messages from everybody.(43! )thank you all for your kindness but there is a few issues i need to discuss: 1. please do not disscuss politics in your emails.I am only 19years old girl so please do not ask me about the future elections in israel ! 2.please dont ask me personal questions like height,weight and some things like this.what was needed is written in my profile.3.also because my final exams starting and 8th tournament and 20 games,i will not be accepting any challenges sorry...
i perfer to chat only chess related issues for example i read that victor kortchnoi played a game with soul of akiba Rubinstine with a medium.i knew the game was left unfinished.Is there anyone that knows anything about that game?

This looks almost too good, 8-1 after 9 finished games !!
If this continues to go GK's way you guys (and girls) would for certain have put GK on the chess map !!
Maybe GK's strength have been underestimated by your opponents, but after playing here for only a couple of weeks i have already noticed how good players there are here !!

The two games was very interesting against a tremendeous opponent, one of the strongest I meet in my GK time.

Thanks for all kind words. I lost the winning chance in the 2nd game when I set up the pieces wrong on the board (43.a5? , 43.c6!). I,d liketo thank schachfruend for giving me a chance to play for GK team. When she found out that I wish to play and there was no place for a new player she withdrew from the team.

Congratulations Peter on a fine victory. From the score and the positions of the games in progress, things are looking very good for Gameknot. When the match started I hadn't played many games here and I thought there must surely be a lot of ratings inflation. I can see that is not the case.
