with richardwyles started 15 may 2003 still in progress. but.. i will admit we are purposely taking our time. rich did this at my request. im sure when this game is over it will be the longest ever on gk or at least close to it. i have personal reasons for this game. i started it with rich because of something i read here once on gk forums. :)

What is it with people here concerned with how long a game takes?
I hadn't given any thought to how long our game has been going on. I don't have much time to
visit GameKnot or play chess these days. However, now that there is so much interest in the
length of this game, especially by philaretus, I tell you what philaretus, brunetti and I
will stretch out this game for at least another two years! I'll play till I probably either
get checkmatted or there is a forced draw. That will give you something to talk about for the
next couple of years. What do you think about that?

agree with brunetti and kingofpawns. Why bother about how long a game last? The only one who this concern is the players involved. It canīt be a problem for anyone else, or what?
