Subject: BOGUS Chess Puzzles/Problems here~!

Message:
Greetings All ...
This thread is to advise of bogus Chess problems at GK. So ... how about starting with MINE~!? Fair enough?
PROBLEM #1094
that I entered today july 3, 2007 is entirely bogus. The claimed Mate in Two cannot be accomplished by Black .... unless he moves his pawns BACKWARDS .... proving once again that anesthesia and Chess do not mix ... besides being my first try at entering one of these things.
So avoid 1094, or just do it backwards for black and forwards for white ... and you may get it ... be sure to get anesthetised first
OR you can find the corrected problem in #1095, which IS a mate in four if you play the best moves for BOTH sides.
****
I have written GK to see if they will remove the bogus attempt, but do not know if that is possible or not. I've heard others have this problem in the past, of a mistaken entry, but do not know how they resolved.

HEY ...

Message:
It appears that problem #1094 is not there any longer. I did send GK a note asking for removal of it, but it was only sent within a 1/2 hour ago...so I am thinking they probably could not get to it that fast. There fore it seems that what I did must have removed the problem. So perhaps you want to try this if you get one entered wrong ....
After realizing it was bad, I went in to SOLVE mode and immediately clicked it as INSOLUABLE or Wrong Solution as my rating. Perhaps since I was the author?or the first respondent? it went ahead and removed the thing!

thx heinzkat

It seems that 1094 is back after all :(
ANd now I find a "cook" to 1095 also ... which needs a pawn on a5 added, for as it sits there are two ways to mate in 4.
I believe that my Problemist career has just ended~! It was just exciting to see the theme come up in an actual game, and be such an unusual position and resolution... that the carelessness of overenthusiasm has ruined it from the start. I had better just stick with putting remaining energies into my few games and things I'm more familiar with. A very dissappointing debut ...

[And HE doesnt even have to move the pawns backwards to do it ...zowwee~!] Thanks chessfriend; correct-o-mundo, good solving~! :)

"Hello, ccmcacollister!
Your chess puzzle #1095, mate in four is actually mate in two.
1. ... Kf7
2. hxg8=Q+/B+/R/K (forced) Qxg8#

I noticed that your(?) chess puzzles #1094 and #1095 are identical, but #1094 is the correct one (mate in two) and #1095 is UNcorrection of it (mate in four). Furthermore, even #1094 is not a real chess puzzle, because there is more than one alternative solution starting with the very first move. (You have told your solution, and I told mine in my previous message.) Anyway, good try, and a nice combination. Keep making puzzles!

Regards, Juco "

#1068 also has few more solutions : e.g 1.Bd6 any move other than a rook move
2. Nb7#

and for a rook move simply take the rook #
