Put a link to the forums in your "bookmarks" under "more options". You can find the forums via "more options" as well.

It only appears when you go into 'forums' via 'more options.' Slightly strange, perhaps GK made a mistake when they constructed that part of the site.

Mike sneakily hid the "forums" option from regular view way back when things went haywire with the Social board (I saw that "Club" boards have been made now, and I like the compromise). While it seems like an underhanded move, I can attest that it's probably the smartest approach one could take.
Some people like to go to communities just to be annoying. For the past year and a half, I had the misfortune of moderating a forum with 200,000 such miscreants. My observation about those kinds of people is that they're either incredibly lazy, or just not that bright. Having a virtual IQ test just for finding the forums is a nice way to fend off those critters, and keep the community to those who actually want to use them benevolently.

That's a genius idea from Mike, i never thought of that! I think those people are more likely to be the sort of people who simply take pleasure out of annoying others, the kind of people who'd make prank phone calls, build computer viruses etc. We should pity them, as that's the most interesting thing they can find to do with their lives.
