wow it has generated a lot of attention to the new puzzle section, over 200 people already solved gameknot_com's puzzle, and I got three messages saying my puzzles are silly and that I should try better next time I put one up.
Personally, I never look/come at the home page because it contains no interesting information at all? But apparently, over 200 other people think otherwise :-)

I don't like the new Gameknot frontpage very much. I miss the menu on the left, with all the important links. I think the puzzles are not the most important matters I would like to see, when I login.

The only change (so far) is the addition of the daily puzzle. Nothing has been removed, only one thing has been added.

how popular the chess puzzles are (over 400 people solved and rated the problem by gameknot_com in one day), just by linking to it from the frontpage, you wonder if the annotated games (the annotations with the most ratings have no more than 60-70 ratings) and forums could be so heavily used also ...

I don't have the menu on the left anymore. It is there when I click on "my games" or something else. So, if I want to go to my teampage, I have to take more action then before, since I don't see the main menu. Or is there something wrong with my browser?!

I don't know if it has another name, but I think it is a menu. It is only there when I login, it is not on the Gameknot homepage.
On top is says "My games" and then "Join Game". The last one is "Forum". I can choose very easy to go to my messages or team page. I can even, in the item "More options" put some usefull links. That menu is not there when I login.
