 Subject: Respecting the Top Players

I am slowly beginning to truly realize how hard it is for someone like Cyrano or Rodog to stay on top of gameknot.com. I am now a 1550 player--and each game gets harder. One loss against a player even -200 points will cause me to lose so many points that it takes 3 wins to make it up. I can't imagine how hard it is and how demanding it is to constantly win to stay on top when one loss will practically kill your rank. I want everyone over 2000 to know that I appreciate how hard they work and how well they play. Someday, I hope to reach that mark myself...I keep pushing and learning....chess is great, and thanks to gameknot for making me better.

I am finding it SOOOO hard to reach the 1300 zone. I can't imagine how someone can even get higher than 1400!!!
So well done all of you that are even 1700+, because people in that area must have REALLY put a lot of effort into chess :)
