Subject: Detailed graph

Message:
Right now, the small graph everyone can see is for the last year, and the big graph for paying members is since you are playing. But the effect of that is that the recent activity is extremely small in both cases. It would be a great idea to have the option of turning the detailed graph on only the last year to see the recent progress in greater detail. Like, I don't care that much that I was 1250 3 years ago...

It would be a nice option to be able to adjust the graph. I do admit that I like to see what my rating was a few years back, so I remember where I came from...

Right-click on the graph...

... and you will have the full picture (at least for paying members)

I thought you had to 'left-click'...

Message:
yanm, but that depends on one's mouse settings :-)

...as it is now the graphs are clear enough, I think...

Whoops, I'm cofounding right and left :D

Message:
The graphs are also clear enough for me. The only little thing that bother is their non-GK colours. I already told that to GK long ago; they answered that they agreed with me but that unfortunately the code/program they use to generate the graphs had important limitations...

Do-it-yourself

Message:
I have experimented with copying "past games history" into Excel, then copy and paste-values to a separate sheet to get rid of colors and formatting.
Then you can use Excel to build your own chart(s).
It's a bit of a hassle, but then you can do whatever you want with the data.
Actually, now that I think about it, maybe what Gameknot could do for us is to make a download for the "past games history" that would give us the raw data instead of having to copy and paste it.

More Do-it-yourself

Message:
In addition to custom charts, once you have the data you could also do custom stats. For example, the stats that GameKnot gives on the 90-day, past-year, all-rated-games tabs could be generated for any time period or number of games, or some other criteria. If some people had the time, they could put some spreadsheets together and swap them.
