I notice your average opponent rating is about 150 less than your own rating , so maybe not worth boasting about so much?

blackbaron, i would not call manhatten 's AMAZING record on winning 7000 games 'boasting'. It is not so easy espectially when you are playing 200 games at the same time. Players like cyrano 's average opponent's rating is nearly 500 points below his own rating...

Congradulations manhatten !!! Like tim_b mentions, it is not easy to have 7000 wins and play 200 games at a time :)

Congratuations.

It is amazing how many game some of us are playing at a time. I know I could avoid stupid blunder if I trim them down, but it's addictive to fill the slots for more game. That's why I didn't upgrade my subscription last time.

190 out of 201 current games against opponents rated lower than you currently. Im sure we all could rack up the wins if we picked out the cannon fodder to bully too. No big achievement , come back when u get your average opponent rating up and brag then

Blackbaron!

Message:
You are missing my point! It does not matter about how good or how bad your opponents are, 7000 wins is great work! It is a tough thing to do even if you are playing players in the 900 zone. Constanly playing low rated players might rack up your wins but manhatten 's average opponents' rating is 1439. That is not bad at all that is higher than your rating! Also, when i was checking his active games, the lowest rated player out if the 200 players was 1234 and that was a division match. It might be true that many of them are below manhatten 's rating but it was not by much; most in the +/- 50 zone. The rest were high 1300s, 1400s, a few 1500s and a couple of 1600 and those are very challenging ratings. With manhatten also playing 200 games, i think it is unfair to say that he is 'bragging' of 'boasting'.

A fine record, manhattan -

Message:
Congratulations! I think it might be worth pointing out to detractors that manhattan is prepared to place his own rating on the line in each game. I reckon that places his record in a creditable context.

Ion

I agree with blackbaron

Message:
with an avg opponents rating much lower then yours it is alot easier to rack up the wins.
And i cant see how playing 200 games at a time makes it more difficult to rack up 7000 wins. try playing 1 game at a time and racking up 7000 wins see how long that takes

"And i cant see how playing 200 games at a time makes it more difficult to rack up 7000 wins."

Because the more you play at a time, the less time you can devote to each game, and the worse you play each game therefore. If you play only 1 game at a time, you are capable of doing much better in that game.

And no matter what, I find 7000 games, won, drawn, or loss, to be impressive. What's with all the hating?

Alright gangstaman.
give it a go, for one year play one game at a time see how many wins you get, then another year try playing 200, you would easily get more wins playing 200 that 1.
Even if you only win 50% of your games that still one hundred wins. You would complete many more games in a day play 200 then playing 1.

to each their own, but...

Message:
Why make such an effort to bring a person down about their accomplishments? You could also play one game per year blindfolded. But would that take away from the person who played one game at a time regularly? The only reason that you'd get less wins playing one game at a time, honestly, is only because you'd die before you could catch up.

The 7000 win mark obviously means something to him, so just say congrats and move on. And if that proves to be too difficult, then just don't say anything at all.
