 Subject: "wait for your turn" and Vista

Sorry if this has been posted before (I couldn't find a search function for the forums), but the "wait for your turn" function doesn't seem to work for me. I'll bring it up in its own IE window, minimize it, and start doing other stuff. Later, when I come back to gameknot I'll find that it's my turn in three or four games without ever having the window do anything...
Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a Vista thing? Is there an easy fix?
