 Subject: Wait for your Turn
Message:
I use it very often specially wen i have catch up with my running games.
But sometimes i just want to concentrate on 1 running game where my opponent is on line and moves rater fast..
I would like to see the wait for your turn feature also available for just that 1 game..
Because now i keep refreshing the board or the my games page...
And if possible a extended wait for your turn. so i can selected a few board that will pop up wen they have moved..

It is not so hard usethepaen, but that is not the issue here..
Wen i have games waiting for me to move with 13 days on the clock.
Then i like to concentrate on the lower rated and fast move games..
But the option wait for your turn is not available then.
so i like to select the boards where i like to move fast or my opponent is on line and wait for my turn with those boards only..

That would be an especially nice feature if someone has a lot of games. It would not affect me too much, with my 3 or 4 :)
but could be convenient for a lot of players.

It's also handy for players who have only two games running! In one it's their move, and in the other they're waiting to move again, you see?

This idea is excellent. Many times I have sat and desired such a function, as I wanted to focus only on certain games at hand and take the additional time to think out more challenging games before proceeding.

hey i joined recently and i searched for this subject and many people want it.. we are in a game and were moving quick. and instead of click my games then open game back up to see if he made his move or click refresh at top of page then we can just have site refresh itself when opponent makes move it would make this site from 99.9 to 100:O

If it is too complicated to have "wait for your turn" for every game separately, I would suggest to modify the existing feature so that it can be activated at any time and you get notification when any of your opponents has made a move.
Biggest problem for me now is that it can't be activated if it is my turn in any of my games.

Yes, this would be ideal - make the Wait option ignore any games for which it is already my turn, and just wait until the next move by an opponent.
Do the Gameknot programmers watch this forum for requests and ideas? Or is it best to email them directly?

i would like it as i currently don't use the 'wait your turn' function, because i often have games that i wish to spend more time on. if i am playing fast in one game but dwelling on another, the function becomes redundant. refreshing is not that much of an issue, but if this idea were implemented, then one could browse the web while waiting for a particular opponent to move.
