 Subject: game canceled on me?

I had engaged another player in a game, and after one day he canceled. By gameknot rules shouldn't I have won the game? after one day the other player sent a message saying he was cancelling because I took too long. Perhaps he should play blitz chess or choose a different pass-time.

outside of a tournament setting, I usually play those first three moves pretty promptly to avoid what just happened to you, renotoc1. After that, I take whatever time I'm comfortable with.
