Indeed your suggestion is a good one. We have this functionality already when hovering over one of the games in a tournament grid, so technically I would think it'd be easy to apply it here too.
Then, forgive for hijacking your thread, but it's related, why not allow initial positions when you put a game on the market (=start game)?
And why not allow positions with more than 6 moves, but then automatically not rate the games. This allows us to study some endgames.
(forgive if these things were discussed already, I couldn't find it in a quick search).
